Siddhartha Engineering Limited.initially started by as a proprietary concern in the year 1972 in the name of “S Palo & Co.” with its Head Office at Semiliguda, Koraput and executed contact orders received from M/S. Hindustan Aeronauties limited (HAL) Sunabeda. It was then incorporated as a Private Limited Company under companies Act 1956 on 20-11-1986 with its registered office at Semiliguda. Subsequently the company gained the status of a Public Limited Company in the year 2008.

The company has executed prestigious project contract orders for erection of electric Sub-station, Transmission lines from leading Public Sector Organizations like MES Indian Navy and NALCO (National Aluminum Company) Damanjodi, Koraput (Orissa).

In order to have a wider network of operation and better logistic support, the company shifted its registered office from Semiliguda to the State Capital Bhubaneswar in the year 1990. The company had bagged large orders from Mahanadi Coal Field Ltd (MCL), NALCO, Angul (Orissa), NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation), Talcher (Orissa), IOC (Indian Oil Corporation) Ltd. Jatni (Orissa), NTPC, Singrauli (UP), GRIDCO (GRID Corporation) Orissa Bhubaneswar, Traction Sub-station (Indian Railways).

The company because of its commitment to quality work in projects could get contract orders for execution of a number of sub-station in Karnataka, under KPTCL (Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited) and in Harayana under HVPNL (Harayana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited). The company has added one more feather to its cap by expanding its operations abroad with the contract order from PHPA (Punatsangchhu-1 Hydroelectric Project Authority) Bhutan for construction of 66/ 33KV & 33/ 11KV.
